Assisted living is designed for individuals who value their independence but may benefit from some additional daily support. At Sherwood, care is not one-size-fits-all. Some residents need only occasional reminders or standby support, while others benefit from more hands-on assistance. We evaluate care needs thoughtfully and create a personalized plan that adapts over time. This flexible approach allows residents to receive the right level of support while maintaining their routines, preferences, and independence

You’ll often hear the term ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), which include tasks such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management. These areas help determine how much assistance may be helpful, while still encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible.

Costs are structured as a base rent plus care services based on individual needs. This allows families to understand exactly what is included while ensuring residents only pay for the support they require. As needs change, care can be adjusted, providing peace of mind without the need for another move.

Our goal in assisted living is simple: provide supportive care that enhances independence, promotes dignity, and allows residents to continue living confidently in a comfortable, community-centered environment.
