What are the differences between Sherwood, The Lodge, and Fifth Avenue?

Our three communities offer different senior living options to meet a variety of lifestyles and needs. Sherwood Assisted Living & Memory Care offers assisted living and memory care for residents who benefit from personalized support. The Lodge and Fifth Avenue offer independent living for older adults who want the convenience of community living while maintaining a high level of independence. Each community has its own atmosphere, amenities, and personality, allowing residents and families to find the setting that feels like the right fit.

How do I know which community is right for me or my loved one?

The best choice depends on your lifestyle, level of independence, and current or anticipated care needs. Our team is happy to learn more about your situation, answer questions, and help you explore which of our communities may be the best match. A personal visit or tour is often the best way to experience each community for yourself.

What is included in the monthly cost?

What’s included varies depending on the community and type of living arrangement. Independent living, assisted living, and memory care each have different services and pricing structures. During a tour, our team will review current pricing, what’s included, and any additional services or care costs so you have a clear understanding of your options.

Can I bring my own furniture and belongings?

Yes. Residents are encouraged to personalize their living space with furnishings, photographs, artwork, and other belongings that make it feel like home. Furnishings and apartment options vary between communities, so our team can explain what is provided and what you are welcome to bring.

Can family and friends visit?

Absolutely. Family and friends are always an important part of community life. Residents are encouraged to welcome visitors, share meals, participate in activities, and enjoy time together. Each community has its own guidelines for guests, which our team will review during the move-in process.

Can I tour the communities before making a decision?

Absolutely. We encourage prospective residents and families to visit, ask questions, meet our team, and experience each community firsthand. Tours are a great opportunity to learn about pricing, services, amenities, lifestyle, and availability while getting a feel for what makes each community unique.
